The NEW Pioneer Color Guard from Cedarburg, WI is looking for members 21 years and older. Exceptions to the minimum age will be possible.
Members are expected to march about 2 miles while performing choreographed routines that include equipment work and dance. The song for the parades is “Turn the Beat Around” (the Gloria Estefan version). For those who want to march, but may find the dance and/or equipment work hard to do, we’ll work around it. There will also be other opportunities to participate, e.g., American Squad, banner, etc.
The Unit Director is Mary Frank Winkel and one of our instructors is Tracy Scott. They both are planning to march. John Schoenknecht is assisting with social media. We’re looking to socialize and have fun but still work hard to perform an entertaining and well-done routine. We'll also be looking for volunteers to help with various tasks and be a part of the fun!
